metal halide over glass support
I recently saw or RC on another thread a large tank with a glass support cracked by a light. I presently have a all in one Hamilton fixture with built in fan,3 400watt mh and vho. I am concerned that my new tank which will have glass supports may pose a problem. My present tank has plastic supports and has no problem.
To answer my own question I would say just run the light and put my hand on the plastic a feel how warm it is.
or.
Call Hamilton lighting and see what the recommend.
With all this said is there any experts on light experience that care to comment on this?
Thanks
