Glass top in canopy?

In my last tank I had a problem with some jumpers and spray causing salt deposits on my T5 reflectors. When I set up my 90g I put in glass tops between the water and the lights. But now instead of the spray depositing on the bulbs and reflectors it is constantly clouding the glass.

I am curious how many other people use glass tops and how you deal with them.

What other options are out there to protect the lights and keep jumpers in the tank?

I have T5 lights with individual reflectors and they are 6" above the water surface.

Bulk reef supply sells the clear mesh top supplies. Depending the size of your fish you would be better with the smaller size. I think it's sold with 1/4" and 1/2" holes. Buy the framework at your local lowes or home depot as it seems to be cheaper there.
