GlennF's 1500 liter mixed reef tank

Dutch Synthetic Reefing
Dear reader,
I am GlennF from Rotterdam in the Netherlands.

With my new photo shoot, I like to (re)introduce mij tank on RC.

It's a mixed reef with about 180 species of corals and invertebrates living all together. This include discosomas, soft corals, lps, nps and feather stars.

Pictures were shot with the Canon EOS 600D Camera with a standard IS18-55mm (58mm diameter) lens.

It's (3 sides) free standing / look through / room divider tank.
i used a blue blanket to cover the back of the tank because of the bright sunlight

Is is difficult to believe that you could take even more beautiful pictures of this aquarium. Can the Canon ES 600D make movies, I wonder. ;)

Thanks for sharing. Great looking tank!!!!

I just read your article in Reef Hobbyist, literally minutes ago. I will be reading more of your posts. I am especially interested in your method of making your own salt mixes, very cool. I have thought about doing that but have not jumped into it yet.

Thanks !
My method can't be discussed where i am no sponsor, so i can't go into that subject.it already cost me my previous thread.
it is impossible to share something without going commercial that is the bottomline.

so enjoy the pictures ...

support this important project, don't be selfish and give back to the nature.

These are such beautiful animals, it's a shame we can't keep them, but import tons of them to satisfied our needs.
by Tim Wijgerde research we can get some new insight which will benefit the hobby a lot and save us "the reefers money in long term.
so donate to his research.

Tim is reseacher at the university of Wageningen (netherlands)
