I went out to Gloucester Island the other day for a snorkel and general look around. The island is 10 nautical miles from Bowen in Nth Queensland and offers some nice corals etc in an easy to get to location. Beats a 2 hour trip to one of the outer reefs. The visibility wasnt great due to the tides but it was still a great day.
