Glove Polyps staying closed?

Hey guys, so I just added in a glove frag in my 12 gallon tank. Its cycled, with 0 ammonia and 0 nitrites, but I ran out of nitrate test solution So I'll check that out asap. I placed it relatively near the top, with decent flow, and I'm using a kessil 15k LED light which is about 9-10 inches from the surface. The other day when I put it in all the polyps were open, but now its halfway open or closed. Is it still acclimating, or should I be worried? This is one of my first corals, so I'm not too sure on it yet. Thanks in advance!

maybe too much light put it on the sand bed in a shady spot and see if it gets better

How long ago is "just" put in? Mine seemed to open a little when I first set him in and then closed up for almost 2 weeks. Just about gave up on him, but he reopened and now is one of my strongest. Don't move it around too much and just be patient.
