Glue for PVC plumbing

is all PVC cement safe for use on aquarium plumbing? I am using a combination of flexible and rigid PVC. do i need to do anything special before I install it?

Mostly all of them are safe,, I have used Oatey's for everything I have done and not had any problems.

Just make sure you let it dry long enough and it should be good.

The flex PVC has a certian kind of glue to use with it.

I like Elemers, works great for PVC and i use it for frags. But i mostly use Oatey's with no side effects for my pvc.

I think it's all safe. It's all for potable water usage that i know of.
