Can i use just regular super glue to hold down frags or liquid nails glue

i know the best stuff to buy is the ic-gel but im to cheap to shell out the money

super glue - yes. i've used that and ice gel. everything i ever put on with the ice gel has come off with time.

get BSI IC gel... that other stuff is cheap/ worthless....

actually, it's cheaper in the long run. Say you buy loctite which is actually okay glue, but it's like 3-4 dollars but it doesn't have as much...

you can use the superglue and epoxy..

I have better luck with the cyanoacrylate (superglue) gel than the thin stuff.

Get the super glue gel from Dollar Tree. Three tubes for $1. There are two kinds one is in a yellow and red package. I was advised NOT to use that BC of a chemical in it. The other is in a yellow and green package and that is the one to buy. I have used it for quite a while with no ill affects. In fact there is a guy on ebay who sells it for $2.79 + shipping and advertises it a frag glue.

The Dollar Tree stuff works well if you only have a few frags to glue. Make sure to get the one labeled gel. The regular will just float away in a cloud.

If you are doing a lot of fragging then the IC Gel is more cost effective. It's also a pain to keep opening new tubes.

I use the 2 for $1 super glue gel at Big Lots. Very reliable, no complaints.

Since most super glue tubes are near worthless when you try to use them a second time, I appreciate the smaller gel tubes and don't cry if I have to open one to mount only one thing.

I just used my first tube of real Super Glue Gel in awhile for the Dixon Swap Frags (couldn't get to Big Lots beforehand). I thought the real Super Glue Gel set up slower than the Big Lots Gel. I fully expect that real Super Glue Gel tube to be worthless the next time I go to use it.

i've used all of the above and would have to say the loctite gel is the best i've used. The others would sometimes not stick correctly or take too long to settle or just need more glue overall compared to the loctite. its more expensive but you get what you pay for. just my .02
