Glue

Can anyone recommend a good glue for my tank. The glue I have takes forevor to set and if i accidentally tough the frags they fall.

any gel type glue would work. Glue frag to rubble, epox the rubble to rockwork is how i do it.

I use the IC gel.

Saw A guy yesterday put some gel on the frag then he uses that 2 part stuff from marineland that you roll in a ball and it hardens, Its the stuff Billy mays sells on those infomercial for darn cheap, Then he puts that stuff on and then some more gel on the bottom of the 2 part stuff and his stuff seems to hold rock solid

I have never seen the Aquamend epoxy there lou, what area?

I have seen the aquamend at home depot at these location

- truxel rd where walmart is
- folsom and power inn
- off laguna blvd near hwy 99 in elk grove
- florin rd off hwy 99

I've used the two-part epoxy and it doesn't stick well to anything. It doesn't seem to make a good chemical bond but you can squish into holes to make a mechanical bond.

Someone here said to attach the frag with gel to the epoxy after the epoxy is attached to something like a rock.

I sold someone some Icegel at the swap if it was you im glad you like it. Tan BTW Exotic sell it. Its under the front counter. I use it and go through tubes of it at a time love that stuff.

that is what i was trying to explain. looked like it works very well his stuff doesnt move

I use something called Locktite or something like that from Home depot. Its in a small blue tube and is about $4 a bottle. make sure you get the gel kind though!
