Glueing down my SPS

I was glueing down some acropora tonight some nice smaller colonies , and a rock fell and banged up a couple of them after I aquascaped. Not to mention I banged up a few of the tips myself. Is there anything I can do to help them heal, besides keep my hands off them.

I feel terrible they were in such beautiful shape and I have managed to bang them up when they looked fine on the bottom of the tank before i started screwing with them.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Oh, I am also looking for suggestions to get them to stick, I used some putty tonight and it worked for two corals and the other two were wobble so I moved them down to the sand bed.

If you can't take the rock out of the tank, what is the best epoxy to use to get the plugs to stick?

Use superglue GEL to glue your corals with. If you just leave the ones that you banged up alone then they should be fine.

The epoxy made my skimmer go nuts, should I just shut it down for the night, it is overflowing even adjusted as low as I can get it?

I use super glue gel. I hold them in place for 30 seconds or so until they hold, I also turn off all in tank flow except the return for a few minutes.

Aqua mend from home depot won't mess with your skimmer at all. I used it many times with super glue gel and they work great.

Take small piece of putty in a ball, put couple dabs of super glue gel on the frag and push it into the putty ball. Then put a couple dabs of superglue gel on the other side of the putty ball where it will attach to the rock work and mount it. Someone here on RC told me this and it works better than anything else I've tried. If you dab the frag with a dry paper towel before adding superglue gel it will adhere better.
