glueing euroreef skimmer bottom help

bullitr

broke but happy
I bought a used euro reef RC 250 recirculating for my 32" cube as a trial skimmer that is a really good price but after I paid for it, then I notice that the bottom pvc is not attached. There is no return, no exchange policy. No wonder the price is good but considering I pay less than 1/4 for it I think its worth it to fixed it since they is not damage on the bottom just unglue. The eheim 1262 runs very good so I figure that I buy a $40 worth of acrylic, glue and few ball union valve and It should be good as new

I would lightly sand the edge so you have a clean surface to start with. There is a acrylic question thread here search it and PM the member "Peppie" SUPER nice guy alway's willing to help and does alot of acrylic custom work. I know he would be happy to help/tell you the best way so you know it will work/hold/seal:)

Nice skimmer i have the 1262 mod

I would first try the Weldon 16. If that didn't work I would use 2 part marine epoxy (sold at home depot) and tape a nice line to make it somewhat neat looking. Just needs to function but also don't want to put duct tape all over nicely designed equipment :)
