gluing glass braces?

okay so I am glueing my glass braces on my 210 tank that broke and I am wondering something?

The braces were glued on with just silicone is this for flexibility? Because I was going to use a really strong epoxy glue that can take high heat then put silicone over it for a stronger hold.

Is that okay? Or should I just use silicone by itself?

I am doing this tomorrow so I hope someone can tell me so i don't find out the hard way

pretty please any info helps!

Silicone is all you ned for attaching glass to glass. I wouldn't recommend using any type of epoxy. Make sure the bonding edges of the glass are very, very clean.

Totally agree, silicone alone, if applied properly, is all you need.

okay so one of the braces is already glued on with super glue type stuff so should I try to remove it or just put silicone on top of it? I will glue the rest with silicone only though.
