Gluing mushrooms

I am new to reefing and have a green mushroom that I was planning on propagating and was wondering if I can glue the pieces to a frag plug or do I have to let then grow onto it naturally.

if they have rubble or sand they are attached to you can use that otherwise put them in a screened shallow container with some rubble and they will attach themself. They are too slimy to superglue.

If that doesn't work I have had some luck with rubberbands around the rock or plug to hold in place until it attaches to your desired location. I have also used the method above and then glued the rubble or sand they attached to, to the rock. Both are good options. Just remember to do this in low flow or you will just be chasing those slimy things around your tank.
