Go to product to raise pH?

Chasing pH usually does not end well. Monitor your alkalinity, calcium, magnesium and pH will generally fall inline. Also, lower pH is usually caused by the amount of CO2 in the tank. Good luck just my 2 cents.

No expert here, but my research says Ca and Alk are more important. If you want to dose Ca and Alk with the benefit of raising pH directly use Kalkwasser.

Otherwise open windows, increase gas exchange by agitating the water surface...

Low pH almost always means excess CO2 levels in the tank. Chances are your home also has excess CO2 and will have to open a window nearby to bring oxygen into the environment. You can set an air pump with airstone near the window with tubing long enough to reach the tank and aerate it for a few hours. You can test if there is excess CO2 by taking a cup of tank water.. measure the pH. Then put the cup outside with the airstone for about half an hour to an hour and test the pH again. I just had to do this today with my tank actually :)

What exactly is your pH level? Generally the acceptable range is supposed to be 7.8 - 8.5. I'm always hesitant to use chemicals, I haven't had good luck with them in salt or freshwater.
