gobies and gobies

are different types of gobies compatible?
such as a shrimp and gobie pair and then something like neon gobie or yellow watchmen goby?
I have a biocube 29 so want small fish(of course) but only want a couple fish total.

In a 29g it might be hit or miss. I had a YWG and tiger pistol pair in my 14g Biocube along with a bicolor blenny and they would tussle at times but that is a bit of a smaller area.

I think you would probably be ok with a a shrimp/goby pair and a blenny in a 29g. Typically gobies and blennies will have issues with other fish that sort of fill the same area that they do. Shrimp/goby pairs tend to occupy the bottom so a blenny or other goby that will stay towards the middle or top should be ok, but you really sometimes don't know.

I have clown gobies, watchmans, and 4 or 5 others that I forgot their names, but there is no problems. As a matter of fact, they are all spawning so I guess they get along.

My tank is larger but I have several. Three (Randal, Steinitz, Orangespot) living together under the same coral.

I had a YWG in our 12g, it outgrew it and lives in our 80g frag tank now. He is almost 4".

In our 12g nano, we currently have a red headed goby, a mimic blenny, a green banded goby, and a yasha goby.
