Gobies & cyano

Anyone know if gobies will filter sand with cyano? I'm considering getting one to see if he'll eat it in my tank since it's all over my sand bed.

I had a huge problem with cyano, i controlled it as much as i could with water changes and sucking out the sand, tht helped to a point, but ever since i got my dragon goby i havnt seen a trace of it. Those guys are amazing my sand is white the whole way. They seriously dont stop sifting your sand, i highly reccomend a dragon goby.

I had a glider sleeper goby(Valencienna Longipinnis - mind the spelling-) and he'd sift the cyno but wouldn't eat it. He did a really good job though even eating algae on the rocks.
