goby in over flow

ok i have found my watchmen goby either in my overflow or in the sump every morning over the last week can anyone tell me how to stop him from getting sucked in or jumping in.

Gutter Guard from Lowes, works wounders!!! Best of all DIRT CHEAP

i covered the top part of the overflow and then he got in thru the slots in the front. will the gutter gaurd cover those some

come on over i have just what you need. i accually got it off my old AC unit but its just like gutter gaurd black plastic materiel about 1/8 inch squares would probally perfect just cut to size and wha la lmk im in
st. pete too
and the price is right to give it a shot

What ya do is get a battery operated drill and drill some holes in the overflows and put the gutter guard on it and get some zip ties from HD or Lowes and make sure theres NO metal parts in it ya want all plastic than just zip tie the gutter guard to the overflows, very easy and CHEAP fix and he will NOT get back in there, unless hes as small as a pencil!! I did it to my 2 overflows and NOTHING has got in there.

hey tom it was nice to meet you today hope that works out for you and takes care of the problem its funny you can talk to someone and never meet them and i spend 40 hours a week 3 blocks away from you lol
your aquarium is very pretty love all the corals you have in there very nicely set up and if you dont want the rest of the gutter gaurd you can bring it back or i can come get it but i am not worried i have more

thanks dennis it worked great i cut it to shape and then heated it with my lighter and it fits perfect. i wish i would have thought of it sooner. yeah it is a small world i was in a army hospital in maryland getting xrays and ran into a guy that lived a street away from me in seminole my whole life. but yeah it was great meeting you i want to get by and see your 180 one of these days.
