Goby/pistol shrimp QT

I know most don't QT inverts. I was thinking about getting a goby with a pistol shrimp and my question is this. Should I separate them while I QT the goby and put the shrimp directly in the DT? Or should I put them both in the QT?

I put mine in the quarantine tank together. That is what I would suggest.

If they came together as a pair, then keep them as a pair.

Thanks guys. I figured that was best but wasn't sure. I guess I'll have to make the QT a little more shrimp friendly.

Yes, they are evolved to have a symbiotic relationship so they will both feel stressed if they are not together making the transition harder on both of them.
