goby shrimp question

i got an orange tail "firefish" goby... it already dug a home, i was wondering what kind of shrimp should i put to pair it up?? pistol shrimp? goby is about 1.5inches long

I'm not sure if firefish will pair with a goby. I have a tiger pistol shrimp with my watchman goby and they're always together. Really cool to watch.

firefish won't pair with pistol shrimp.. only certain types of gobies do, generally the 'watchman' or 'shrimp' ones. check out scott's 'marine fish' pocketbook series for a quick reference of the different types of gobies, i use it whenever i'm thinking of getting a fish.. nice quick guide.
