i want them to sift deep, and clean the sand

Nassarious will burrow all the way to the bottom,& move around.Cucumbers work well too.

Nass. snails are awesome, they do a great job. and they look creepy coming out of the sand when you feed! I used to have a sand sifting star, I don't know peoples opinion on them, but he used to sink himself pretty deep.

I was gonna say a sand sifting star, because i have one,but some say that they die easy.Mine is doin great.

If a cucumber dies i have heard that they can be toxic, thats why i dont have one.:D

The combination of a yellow watchman and a tiger pistol shrimp will do just about all you need done, even in a 90, imho: I have one in my 54, and experience some little problem of over-zealous cleaning. A yellow is the one of the most RESERVED and quiet of the sandsifting gobies...the engineer and dragons being the most energetic. I would say with the shrimp, you are going to find a LOT of sand movement. Mine has grown to about 2 1/2 inches and acts like a bulldozer. The fish is about 4 1/2 inches...big for his species.

I have a Diamond Goby and he does a great job. The only thing was when I first got him he made a sandstorm for a few days 'till he settled down..
