Going bare bottom. Nassarius snailS

I plan to go bare bottom in a few weeks. I currently have 4 nassarius snails in the sand bed i only see when i feed.
Is there any point in having them in barebottom? Will they love amongst the rocks or just die

I would just get rid of them. They really serve no purpose, being that your about to remove your sand. I know they'll eat any leftover food that they might come across, but there really should be any leftover food sitting around in the first place. It's up to you. GL.

Just get rid of them, they'll be unhappy with no sand to hide in and they'll be useless anyway. If you need something to pick up gunk, a shrimp or a couple of hermits will do that.

The purpose of nassarius snails is to move sand around. If there's no sand, they're useless aside from picking up gunk. There are things much better at cleaning gunk. Plus, a nassarius snail with no sand is a very unhappy snail.
