Going dc need advice

I have a 120 dt with 40 gal. Sump. Actual volume is 109 gallons. Currently running an an internal eheim 1262. I think with head loss and vertical height I'm about 500 gph. This pump doesn't have any extra flow so I have to have another pump to run my gfo. It would be nice to have one pump run all. So if I am going to increase flow by buying a new pump I would like go to a dc pump for controlability.

I've been using a Jebao for a few months on my 75 as a return. Also runs a BRS reactor and skimmer. Cheap, dead silent and no issues so far. Got it from Amazon.
