Going SPS shopping today

I'm new to this forum and I've been reading all about the SPS stores in Broward. I'm from Miami Beach and Bird Rd. has usually been my Backup since Marine Life Designs disappeared and Aquacon went online.

To my surprise I just spoke with Jeff (Formerly Aquacon and a LFS friend) and he owns Coral Reef Farms by using your awesome spreadsheet. Going to check them out today as well as a couple of others on the list.

Thanks for all the great leads and I'll report anything cool I get.

Be sure to check out Eco-Reef (changed their name, I think it's Atlantis now) on Atlantic and the intercoastal. They've usually got ORA frags there which is sweet.

Good luck!

hmm as far as i know its eco reef still. ;)

but yeah def check it out for sps, take a look at the zero edge tank thread, and thats not even the sps tank! theres a tank in the back with at probably way over 80 specimens, majority are aquacultured by ora and other companies as well. and they range in size from frag to colony as well.

In case you want to see some of what Eco Reef had in the past...

This was taken in June, but should give you an idea of their sps dedicated tank in the back of the store:

Oh yeah, I also know that Pat at ReefLife used to have lots of gorgeous specimens, I'm not sure now because he has a brand new store. I'm thinking of stopping by there today and I'll report back!

Well, just got back from running errands all afternoon. Went by Reef Life which is gonna be called "Amazing Reef Life," by the way. There is a banner on the front that says Reef Life though. His store is shaping up quite nicely...he mentioned he's waiting on his shipment of sps etc. which should be in by next weekend.
