Going to be attempting to pair my Regal Angelfish soon

Ok so I have done as much reading as possible on the subject, however little info is out there. I think my odds are pretty good so I am going to try it. I have had my current Regal Angelfish for over 1 year and 3 months and it has done terrific since day one. It is a 6" Red Sea Orange belly that has been eating frozen and pellets since day one, thanks to a wonderful supplier who always has the absolute best fish. I put in a request to the same wholesaler a week or so ago to look for a smaller regal angel that still had some of the juvi color/pattern and the eye spot on back fin. Today he let me know he got me one and it has been eating there since Thursday, yay!
So in preparation about a week ago I found a picture of a juvi regal angel, printed it out and taped it on my tank glass (sounds weird I know but figured it might help some). At first the established regal was kinda scared of it and hid behind the rock and wouldn't go near it. Now it actually goes up to the picture every so often and kinda just hangs near it. My achilles tang is the devil so wanted to see how it would react, at first it went nuts trying to attack the picture through the glass, after a few days the achilles no longer paid attention to it. So hoping it has made a difference, lol.
Sorry for post being so long but the juvi regal with be arriving at my store on Thursday and I will give it a few days to settle in and make sure it is eating well before introducing it to the tank. I hope for the best results and will keep this thread updated on how it goes. Any suggestions are always wanted for those with experience doing this. Thanks!!!!

I built a specimen holder out of eggcrate(light difuser) that I used to acclimate two new flame angels to the current established flame angel. This worked wonders. Once released, there was a little bit of aggression, but overall they settled things out pretty quickly. I had some pvc pipe in the container for them to hide in, they had full view of the tank (as well as the tankmates of them) and kept them in the container for about 3 weeks.

Damn, I just done the same thing a few days ago.

I've had my 6" yellow belly about 1 year, great specimen eats everything including pellets etc. Couple of days ago I saw a small regal angel about 3" still had the juvi spot. I brought it. My Achillies harrassed it quite a bit for the first day.

When the 2 Regals crossed path, they kinda curled their bodies and done a strange dance. Then my established larger Regal poked and flapped at it quite a bit. It also chased it a bit, and it hid behind the rocks. I was getting ready to pull the new regal out. But I stayed patient. The next day the new regal was swimming out in the open and my original regal has not been showing any agression since.

I'm now on the third day, and everything seems fine, the new regal is eating very well including flakes. Whether they eventually pair up or not I don't know yet. But it is awsome having 2 Red Sea Regal Angels in my tank.

I don't post on here much, but I thought I would considering the similarites, I hope it gave a bit of insight. And good luck.

I'll try post a video tommorrow.

The juvi regal came in today, perfect size and beautiful colors. Didn't get a chance to take a picture because it was still kinda freaked out so will get a picture tomorrow when I'm at work. I am still working on catching the Achilles out of the tank. Hoping to bring the new angel home Saturday night and introducing it to the tank. Nervous! Will post pic of new angel tomorrow :)
