If you dive at night and bring a red lens cover for your light you might be able to see Euprymna scolopes
A little bobtail squid that lives in the sand. I think you can locate them near the shore. There are a few octopus species too. No cuttlefish as far as I know.
There are no cuttles in Hawaii. Reef squid (Sepiateuthis) ARE found there and are now quite common. Euprymna is found in ankle deep water along shorelines at night ... no need for SCUBA.
