IF you go down to Mystic Seaport, there is an aquarium, but they let you "window shop" only

I would try to find a local RC group and ask them. I will do a search later if you need it. I can also ask some people I know from Boston. They seems to know CT well.

Where in CT are you going. Important to narrow my search and request.

If you are headed towards the Groton area there is Fin and Feathers pet store. Not to bad but prices are up. In MA most of the stores are around the boston area.
