Gold dragon?

Picked up this one from my LFS last weekend.

Wasn't labeled there but found it in a "random bin" section.

Could it be a gold dragon and if it is, where should I place it in the tank?

I've never even heard of a Gold Dragon. Do you know how it grows? Did you see a mother colony? IDing that lil piece is going to be tough if that is all you have to go by for now. Determining that it has lineage to a Gold Dragon named colony is a very long shot.

Thanks for the reply. Did not see the mother colony unfortunately. Sadly this RTN today and went from a golden/tan color to bright white in the matter of a few hours. This is after being in the tank for well over a week.

Ah that sucks. When I get bottle brush type Acropora I try to get pieces that are a good 2". Then tend to do better for me at that size.
