I recently got a Golden Angel and its a beauty. I knew i was taking a risk when i got it. The good news is that it is healthy and happy.

The bad news is that it is a nipper. Been nipping at a fungia, candy cane and a birdsnest. Will this behavior stop or am i going to have to break down my entire tank to get it out?

They dont tend to be destructive with their feeding. I'de watch its behaviour and the damage it does over a period of weeks to months, if it becomes very serious and you arent willing to put up with it, remove it.

My c. aurantia never does any permanent damage, though recently an Acanthastrea colony got hit by a falling acropora frag, and the frag stayed in touch for a number of hours. This caused both the frag and the Acanthastrea colony some damage, the frag RTN'd and the colony lost some polyps, anyway, my point; the c. aurantia has taken advantage of the dying tissue and has continued to feed off the dying polyps, causing the dead tissue to spread slightly.

If I were you, I'de be wary of your corals, try your hardest to keep them in good shape and they shouldnt be threatened by your angel. A smart angel will pick from a number of corals over a varying period of time, giving each coral time to recover and thrive.
