Golden Puffer lays eggs

Friend say herGolden Puffer has laid eggs not sure how true this is trying to get pics. The puffer is 16 inches long. Would this be a first in captivity.

It is crap that looks like eggs. I've seen my big coris lay an 'egg' also....

Same comment. My wife called and asked me at work if the coris lays eggs....I said no, and when I got home there was something that looked like a egg/sack like thing. It looked like a jelly bean, not the little ones, the big Easter style ones. I then saw a fish later come by and bite it and is was just powder inside. You know when fish eat a lot of pellets, the poo is like a maroon smoke that comes out and instantly mixes with the water, dissipating. I think this is like a hotdog. The outside is a coating that somehow holds it all in, and the filling is crap.

Get a pic.....but I wouldn't start making omelet plans just yet!
