Juvie goldflakes are seasonal, and come in in large numbers during this time. From dime size to 3-4" still juvenile. The smaller they are, the harder they are to feed (really hard). Looks like a g/f to me. The black bar on the eye goes all the way through is a dead give away.
Hybrids of this size are extremely difficult to distinguish and are unlikely to show any difference until adult form, which is still hard but the body will be bright yellow instead of grey like normal goldflakes. Hybrids are beautiful, if you can get your hands on one.
