Goldflake Angel with clams?

Anyone have experience with Goldflake angels nipping clams?

Good chance the angel will try to taste it. IMO if the clam is healthy, it might not be an issue. It's a gamble no matter what. T

mine never looked at my clam like myerst2 said as long as the clam is healthy. i had angels nip on my clam b4 when it wasn't doing so well but never again once it got better

I had a clam with my Goldflake and my Regal Angel. They did fine for a long time. Then, I moved and my brother was watching the tank and the fish wern't getting fed enough and at that point they took out the clam! Im not positive on which one got to it first, but once one started in on the clam, I saw them both eating it!
