Goliath Worm!

EWWW!!! Why doesn't anyone make 6 foot long tongs for this sort of freakishness!??!

Look what I had to pull out of my tank last night. I cought him crawling over my orange zoo's. I've never ever seen him anywhere but on the sand bed, so I never worried about him, but last night, I didn't want to take any risks with him hurting my corals, so out he came !!

He's about 10 inches long, and UGLY! I'm assuming he's no run of the mill bristle worm. Does any one know what he is?

There's a second one of these in my tank, a bit smaller, only about 6 inches long, but I didn't see it last night to pull it out too.

Actually it is a run of the mill Eurythoe complanata, just a large one. It's probably been over your corals many times without them being damaged and I wouldn't worry about it.

I was watching one of those in my little tank last night, when I spotted my new snail friend. The snail's a Stomatella species of some kind.

Thanks Leslie ! Should I put him back in the display tank? He's in the sump for now.

Cadet, I found a stomatella in my tank too! Cool creature, and a great one to have too.
