Hello, all! I have a quick question. I was at the LFS the other day and couldn't help but to pick up a bright pink goniopora from the "BOGO-deal" tank despite all that I've heard about the coral. It seems to be more of an encrusting-type goni than what I've seen in the past, but I have heard that the red, encrusting types seem to be "hardier" than the green ones. Is anyone able to ID what species exactly it is?
ALSO.
I dipped the frag in Coral RX (everything gets a dip before going in) after getting home last night and the polyps haven't seemed to fully extend back out since placing it in the tank although I did catch them peeking out about halfway for the second half of today. I had it high up in my tank (20g nano with Current Marine LED bar) for the first half of the day, but when it was refusing to come out I actually moved it lower down toward the sandbed and it started to open up a bit so maybe it likes lower light? I'd always thought they preferred mid-high lighting. In the store, I did not see this because the little tendrils flopped over the edge of the skeleton, however one edge of the coral is a bit brown. It is directly along the right edge of the piece. I've heard of brown jelly, however have never dealt with it in my tank and this brown-ness doesn't look horribly gelatinous. Is this just a bit of injured skeleton from fragging that will grow back out, or should I be concerned and do dips etc?

^ This is the side view where you can see some of the browning.
