Gonodactylaceus falcatus in reef

I got this mantis from a fellow reefer and have it in a tank of its own. Since it isn't very active would I really have an issue putting in my reef tank?

I have a self-sustaining snail population that could keep it fed without issue. My tank only has softies in it, with no interest in going to hard corals.

Any opinions?

I wouldn't expect any real problems. Mantids are coral safe. keep in mind though that shrimps, crabs, snails and hermits are toast unless the tank is big enough for them to hide successfully. small benthic fish might be in a bit of trouble too, but less than the inverts.

how big is the tank and how the heck do you have a "self-sustaining" snail population?
