Good 20k bulbs...

other then a Radium. Does anyone have any experience with 400w SE bulbs that yield good results in the 20k range?

I liked the Radium the best, but I believe it was a ushio that I also tried at some point. didn't run it long as I was not a fan. I remember the colors looking too washed out.

For 400w I never did see a better bulb than the radium.

How long did you run them for before replacement?

probably a couple weeks. It has been years since I ran 400w bulbs.

Was growth/color acceptable? Did the tank look blue or do those bulbs burn a little whiter?
