If the tank was new, it was probably still under warranty.

mine crack straight down the glass pane. All my livestock went into rubbermaid containers for 3 days while i got a new tank. It was hard to do but i knew i couldn't go without. GL with everything.

Sorry to hear. Why not put in temporary containers and get a new tank in place? Really my tank is one of the cheapest things in my system

i think its better to start afresh

dont have to worry about my fish etc etc

slowly cycle and take my time
