If you don't have lots of snails, then usually people put a smooth surface glass bottle with some food inside to attract them, which crab can climb in but no way out. However, if you have lots of snails, then they usually eat all food first and get out ;-(

Maybe others have better way...

Take out the acro which he is living on and dip it in Revive or something. He will come out that way.

Hey ryshark, the acros a table acro and I've glued it to a mid sized live rock, could I or should I dip the whole rock with acro in a 5 gal pale?

Very gently administer 1 cc of DON'T EAT MY *@)$^@* ACROS ! as suggested by pocci. The inoculation has a 100% success rate for curing crabs of their desire to feed on acros. They're generally sluggish after the procedure and at times remain so motionless that one could be forgiven for thinking they were dead. :reading:
