good deal?

My lfs is selling a colony rock (25~35 polyps) of monster lips labeled as button polyps for 50 bucks. Good deal or no?

Not bad at all at about 1.60 a polyp. how bad do you want them? if you like em buy it. My LFS asks 50-60 for almost every zoo rock no matter whats on it. I wish she would get something cute like that. I personally like the bright green slit mouths on Zoos and collect them.

IDK, are they common? if they are sought after, i wouldn't mind the deal.

why does it matter if they are common/or sought after if you get them or not?? i think they look cool. sounds like a decent deal.

if you thought they were cool, but really common, would you not get them?

i think the big thing with those protopalys/zoa gigantus polyps that look like that in the LFS, is they are almost never truely brown. they will always color up into something cool given the right light.

seeing that my LFS mislabled them, idk I thought they might be rare or something, hoping to make some money off of them by fragging them in the future. i was just trying to know if they are rare or not, to check the value among reef hobbyists.

if they are not sold by tomorrow, i'll make a stop. hopefully

Yep, like those orange purple eclipse or whatever people are calling them. Cool looking, not rare, still got some

I would pay $50 for them. I wish the LFS' here in Oklahoma would get colorful zoos. Browns and greens are the norm here.
