From what Ive seen they may be a problem when kept in too small (30g or smaller) of tank or with conspecifics... one should be fine in a 65g.

With a six line in there already the Gramma might stick to the rocks, it sounds like he wanted an open swimmer. I like the royal gramma but i had one that stayed hidden. Maybe a yellowtail damsel?

I would consider a halicheores genus wrasse... something like the canary or christmas wrasse might make a good addition. they are generally peaceful and should do well enough with the sixline.

a flame angel or coral beauty would add nice color & swim openly, only drawback is if you were to purchase a coral they might pick at, mostly sps, but duncans & zoa's should be fine, at least thats been my experience.

I agree... a flame angel will definitely add some color to the tank.

ANTHIAS !!! lol very open docile swimmers and alwasy brightly colored, they even school in larger tanks...... don't do a royal gamma.... they seem kinda cheezy jmo
