My tank is fairly young and in my future plans i may want to add a anemone for my o. clowns to host in. I was just wondering what are some of the hardier ones available. I really dont plan on adding more corals or anything just a anemone.
my current equipment is:
Bio-wheel
Magnum 350 canister
penguin blower
sea clone PS
25 lb LR
35 lbs of LS
I have a 24 watt 10000k 50/50 corallife lighting
would i be able to support an anemone with this equpment?

BTA is a common host for ocellaris in aquariums and the easiest of the host anemones to care for. You want to wait several months (preferably 6) after setting up a tank before adding an anemone. As far as equipment, you need more light, on the order of 5 watts per gallon. A better protein skimmer would be a good thing too. Your tank is a 30 gallon, so a Remora C would be a better bet and there are others out there that would be more efficient than a sea clone.

i guess it depends on is your tank stable with it being a smaller tank i would wait the 6months....(i only wanted 3-4 but im running about 100gal total) definately need more light minimum T5's is what i read.

also whats in the tank now? is my next question, dont want to find that the anemone eats anything in there lol
