Good "in-tank" skimmer

I have a 40g breader setup at my work which currently has a Tunze Nano DOC Skimmer in it. I am looking for a skimmer to replace this one as IMO it is a big piece of junk. If I dial the air down to much I have to blow into the little hole to get it restarted, and it produces fairly large bubbles.

Anyways, the new one needs to be quiet since it is in an office, and not produce any micro-bubbles. Also I dont want one that has a record of flooding (we aren't in the office on the weekends). A surface skimmer would be great, and in-tank would be great too. If a in-tank floods it just goes back into the tank.

So, any recomendations? :D

Hi,

Really the only in tank skimmers we have is the Tunze skimmers and a small AquaEuro Nano, but it's only rated for 24 gallons.

You might look into a Freedom filter. We can special order them or your local pet shop might have them, here is there website link

The smaller ons is about 299 though, little on the expensive side, but they do create flow for your tank and skimmer at the same time, it's all inside the tank, so no danger of overflow and pretty nice construction.
