good LFS

yea good plan. where do i get those containers?? i really liked planet reef. plus their selection of rare or hard to find livestock really made me excited to go and look around all the time. plus i am hoping to get some great prices on LR there since he seems to really want to get one of his first major customers.

I use everything from regular coolers you can buy at walmart, to the smaller styrofoam packing containers people have sent corals to me in from UPS.

if you're that worried about a 35 minute drive then just take a small $5 insulated igloo water jug.

remember that the livestock didn't come from the garden out back. its flown thousands of miles and often times the bags come in at fairly low temps. I've bought stuff and then stopped at a couple places afterward and then got home 2 hours later with no ill effects though I wouldn't try this in the winter.

club discount to who? what club... im not in any... thats the other question... even though im just a starting reefer would joining a club be wrong? or should i wait till i have a tank?

i was thinking of joining SEASL but i dont know

SLASH and SEASL are two St. Louis clubs.

Joining a club is a great idea. They have their benefits whether it be meeting new people, joining in events, getting discounts and all those good things.

are you just talking about at PR? does gateway aquatics have a discount for either club? i notice that he has the papers to join SEASL

You do not have to be a member to attend SEASL meetings and special events like at Marine Solutions tomorrow night. So come along if you can.

that sucks. i have 31 hours to work this week. 7.5 of which are tomm right after i get off school. fun stuff let me tell you. (P.S. i HATE Jack-In-The-Box)

Welcome to the addiction and the neighborhood. I'm also about 5 minutes away from gateway aquatics.

I go to Planet Reef a lot just because they care and are not shy to tell you when you should and should not buy something. Be honest with them and they will tell you what your next step should be. Follow that and you will have a nice tank.

The reason you did not find anything at Planet Reef is because Jeff (JxMetal) bought all of it. I did too but let's just blaim Jeff. lol. The last couple of shipments Jeff and I opened the boxes. Talk about addiction. lol

Here is a a good place to buy your dry goods: www.thereefstop.com
Mark 96 is the owner of the web page and is a member. Really good guy and awesome prices.

If you need a sump built or anything technical don't be afraid to ask me. I built a few systems for myself and also a few for the local reefers. They seem to like what they got. (tapping myself on the back) lol

Shoot me a PM next time your going over to the Planet. We can waist my gas.

Thanks for the correction Jeff. I'm sure you are done buying stuff just like I am lol. I'm starting to collect sps now. That can't lead to a good thing hahah
