Good light for all SPS?

This would be going on a 16 gallon bowfront tank :

I'll be filling it with as many of the rarer SPS frags I could get.

That might be a tad much for that small of a tank. IMO that would be the right size for a 30 gallon or 40 breeder. Also I'm not sure of that brand but I assume you have researched that

I remember I bought that for my 25g, its such a pos. I wouldn't recommend it. I'd rather go with a 75w or 150w MH pendant (http://www.marinedepot.com/md_viewItem.asp?idproduct=IC3511) and ic ballast (http://www.marinedepot.com/md_viewItem.asp?idproduct=IC3111 ) for a tad more than what you're paying for that little pendant you posted - jmo

Thanks for the recommendation. If it's a POS then I won't bother. That must be the right decision because I was outbid on it this morning.

From what i've read and my messaging back and forth with Andy of Icecap. The 70 mh that drake posted is more than enough for a 16 gallon tank. I got one for a 10 gallon frag tank that i have yet to set up. (need some free time) Andy also said that it should last about 2 years with an icecap ballast.

Doesn't look like it comes with a bulb, tho. I definitely don't want to spend over $300 on this. Plus, I'd rather have something that sits on the tank...I don't like to be limited in tank placement due to having to hang a pendant.

I love the way that light looks, tho...
