Good Maine LFS's???

last time I went into bobs tropical gib was very nice and helpfull (I traded him my 7" black volitan )I dont know if it has changed since then or not but I will probably be in there soon as I dont get out that way much
I go to all the stores in this hobby it pays to shop around plus you get a larger selection,or find one YOU LIKE and have them order things for you
I visit atlantis in portland and deep sea creations in auburn probably more than I like to admit,but just visited costal aquatics in freeport a week ago didn't have much but I got a branching monti frag along with some zoa peices on 1/2" rocks for next to nothing that are all doing great I will go back

There is a guy Bryan who sometimes has a few frags he wants to get rid of in the Bangor area..

Also Mother Natures recently said they would offer SWAM memebers a discount... be sure to stop in and say hi at least... they have been know to take some frags in as well... so now we have Mother Natures, Golden Lamb, Coastal Aquatics, Aquatic Atmospheres and Aquatic Concepts

Last but not least.. Mike, I realize you are disappointed , however for everything there is a reason... be assured that something else will probalby come your way if you keep you rmind and eyes open.... talking badly about it will not do you any good nor make you feel any better. Find the positive side, it is there

It's good to see that despite the cold ocean water, reefs are alive and well in Maine. I can't wait to get back home. I'll sure try to get to some meets when time allows.

I do understand what you are saying. My point with the whole thing was that nobody has any respect these days for anyone else. I got a raw deal but for someone else to take advantage of my misfortune.

I spent months trying to get the funding I needed. I am part disabled and anyone who has ever been on dissability can tell you that good credit is a hard thing to keep. I have a condition called OCD, obsessive complsive disorder. I have had it all of my life. I have allways had to work twice as hard as everybody else just to live a somewhat normal life. At 20 the ocd took over. I could not function in any way, I couldnt eat, sleep, anything, it was 24/7 ocd. Im 5'10" and went down to 113#, I looked anorexic. At age 29 I found a ocd program at Mclean hospital in Belmont Ma. It saved my life, I spent 3.5 months there. After that I started to rebuild my life. Its not been easy but I have been able to maintain what I learned there.

Gib introduced me to a guy with the funding just not the time to run the business, I have the time. Everything was in place for us to buy it. He wanted to wait till May to buy it.

This lady got wind of me trying to buy it from you Denise! An hour after you told her about it she was there trying to buy it from out from under me. As I said no respect for anyone else, just what she wanted. She went to great lenghts to make sure she got it not me. I never played dirty but I wish I had.


I think I have a right to be upset with her and Gib. I never would of said anything about this on here except she was trying to give her business a plug here, thats what got me going. I think people should know what kind of person she is. Some like me it will matter too but most of you it wont. For some reason people dont care who they buy stuff from. Right in Brunswick there is a photographer who is a known rapist, you would think people whould not hire him because of that BUT they do and dont care. I think I'll stick to pets and keep away from people, worst things on the earth by far.

BTW (and since I could really care less about dating myself) the last time I was in Hollydach's was well over a decade ago (almost two). Do they get into any reef stuff at all now???
 
its worth the drive to deep sea creations in auburn they will treat you right best prices and quality in the state just call ahead if you are making a long trip stuff dosnt last long today they had about 10-15 sps frags at awsome prices
