Good or Bad brain coral?

Calappidae

Harlequin Shrimp
I bought this new decorative live rock with all these plants, sponges, corals, etc. growing on it. I want to put this rock in my 6.6 mini-reef but I'm afraid of something..
Is this neon blue/green brain coral safe for my harlequin shrimp, bumblebee shrimp, sexy shrimp and such? I noticed its tentacles extending around it a short while ago.

will it sting, kill, or eat them especially enclosed in a small aquarium like this? Right now it's about an inch wide when fully opened.

Yes, even when it grows. If any type of livestock is injured/killed from that type of coral, it wasn't well to start with.

As far as corals stinging people, yes... they'll leave a welt. But it depends on the coral, and the person. My brain coral, like yours, rarely sends out tentacles. But my Duncan coral, which is considered pretty passive, will leave welts on me if I brush up against it. Other people don't have issues with that type of coral. Plus... my little tiny Yellow Clown Goby hides in the Duncan and sits on its polyps/tentacles. Yet it leaves welts on me. Go figure.

Some corals can definitely consume livestock given the opportunity. But what you've got there isn't one of them.

I touched condylactus and ricordae daily no problems.. and I got stung by a upside-down jellyfish twice and felt it. I also walk bare foot around my yard and get stung by bees... and just keep walking like.. eh:p

So harlequin shrimp, pom pom crab, bumblebee shrimp, sexy shrimp, and anything else I decide to throw in the 6.6 gallon mini-reef full of polyps and mushrooms is ok with the brain? The tentacles are really really short but I have no clue what "short" or "long" is for them or even if it was fully opened. I think its closed in the picture provided...
