Is this guy good? I see them around my zoas. Didn't seem to affect them, but I thought I would check.

Thanx. I just googled Stomatella and that is exactly what he is. Put him back in the aquarium where he can do some good.

Many hobbyists are lucky enough to have them reproduce in their tanks.

I gave a ton away in my local area. They breed like crazy but only when they have a food source and then die back down. They are really fast and come out mostly at night. Since I added my hooven wrasse, I guess it started to eat them so I dont really see them in my main display tank, only in my refugium.

I'm among them. I love stomatella and they do breed well. It's fun to watch them climb up and release their spore.

They perform all the actions of a purchased snail for free, and because of their unique shells are able to get into rock work where a normal snail could never go and they won't knock over corals like some giant turbos I've had.

I did notice that they were pretty fast (relatively) and agile. What a cool thing to have for free. I hope I get more.

I got them everywhere in my tank they defiantly come out at night if you flip a rock over or a coral they will be everywhere underneath it. Good free cleaners but a pest because of how fast they multiply!
