Good or Bad: Led strip on 24hrs

I'm setting up a tank ( new to the hobby) and I'm thinking of leaving my strip of LED's on when my regular lights are not on. I have t5 lights with actinics and whites that I plan on running for 8-10 hrs. Would the LED's on for the rest of the day bother the corals and fishes. I currently don't have any sps but plan on getting some acans and soft corals. Thanks in advance for ur opinion.

In my experience I have found that when my LED strip are on in the evening after the MH and T5's go out, 2 24" ReefBright Blues, my fish are out and about swimming as they normally would. It is only when the LED lights go out and all lights are off that the fish all hunker down in there sleeping spots. I'm not sure about the effect on the corals. In my tank I would definitely not run my LED strips 24 hrs a day. A little moonlight set on a moon cycle is a different story :D.

What I really meant on my post was moonlight leds. I don't have anything to put them on a moon cyle though.

if its ran froma separate power cord you could create a moon cycle with cheap wall socket timer
