good or bad snails

i bought about 50lb of live rock this weekend off of someone and put it in a separate tank than my display for the time being. there are a bunch of these little snails in there with the rock. they are all about pea size and very dark green in color. they almost look like some sort of limpet (about a half of a pea flat side down). due to there size and my crappy camera i cannot get a clear enough picture of them. has anyone else had these little things? are they good or bad? i just don't want to throw them in with my corals and have the tank destroyed, although the rock i purchased with them on is covered in mushrooms and what looks to be some star polyps. i've never seen these in a store or for sale nor in anyones personal tank. also if they are bad, what are the chances of a sixline wrasse taking care of them?

any guesses or websites to maybe identify them would be greatly appreciated.

thanks

non of those on melevsreef look like them. thanks for the link though.

i'll probably end up bringing a couple to the meeting like Lynn said.

they could be stomatella, but from what i've been reading they usually have a soft mantle that covers the shell? mine don't have that.

i'll definitly bring a couple to the meeting. i'm sure someone can tell me right away after seeing them.

got an allright picture... still probably can't tell

well, i tried a couple shots from outside the tank and anything really close up is totally distorted. then i pulled my head outta my ___ and took the critter out. i was only able to get one off of it in focus, but it still helps.

also my question again would a sixline wrasse go after these guys or leave them be? i' sure he'll try to make quick work out of the bristle worms that came on the rock.:uzi:

also threw in a pic or 2 of my awsome deal: the 30g tank, about 30-40lb live sand (wish all my tanks had this much life in the sand), and 50-60lb of that beautiful live rock covered in mushrooms, featherdusters and a few pink star polyps, and last but not least about 50 bucks worth of frozen food.he was going to throw the stand in also, but it would't fit in the car and i planned on using a tank that size as a sump for my 150g build. total for all of that = $50! just had to make a short drive to lake thunderbird area on saturday. i had to throw on a light, heater, filter, and powerhead. but a complete running tank for about 2 weeks. i feel truely lucky to have gotton such a good deal:dance:. maybe i should have played the lotto that day too!:celeb1: lol

first time loading photos..... here goes nothing

that does look like a limpet, i have them all over my tank they stay in the rock work and all over thee sump, I rarely see them on the glass. hopefully someone smarter than me will chime in for sure.
