Good or Bad?

Can I get an ID on this please? It has a white stem with a flower like polyp that has dots in each petal. Popping up all over my tank and if its bad how to I get rid of it?

looks like a feather duster of some type. cant really see the picture to clearly. does head go in and out quickly

It's probably a Serpulidae worm outlined in the link below.

I also thought it was a feather duster. The head doesn't go in and out quickly, its just moving with the current in my tank. I haven't tried touching or removing it to see the reaction. They just have a hard white stem. I'll try to get a better pic tomorrow.

They are feather dusters and they are filter feeders. Good for the tank. People pay money to get them!
