I found this on my live rock are they good or bad?

Hard to tell from the pic. Looks like it might be apstasia.

Its not apstasia it has a green ring inside of it and looks more like a polyp. I know what apstasia is because there is also some of that on the rock. I am not very happy because none of this was visible when i purchased the rock.

hard to tell in the picture, almost looks like a zoa (no problem if so) than anything else.

I also would not have bought a rock if I saw apstasia on it.....BUT...GUESS WHAT.........TA..DAAAAA

I have also bought rocks that a year later that produced feather dusters & bristle worms.

It looks like a pest anemone, I have heard them called Glass anemone's. Get a couple peppermint shrimp, they should take care of any of them.

looks like zoa, most Zoa are colorful. if it is, than don't worry about it.

Looks more like a cup coral with that hard calcium skeleton. They are common on LR especially if Florida.

thanks for posting the picture. I did not see the aspista on the rock when I bought it or I would not have purchased it. It was only on one of the rock I bought. I will pick up some peps once my tank is cycled.

looks like a zoa polyp to me
