Good sand sifting fish

Like the title states this is what im looking for. I've had a bullet goby in the past he sifted the sand well but he just dumped it all over the corals. So now im looking for a good sand sifting fish that doesnt dump the sand everywhere. My tank is a 75g with tons of live rock(about 100 lbs).

if your concerned with a fish dumping sand on your corals wich they almost always do,try getting a bunch of nassarius snails and sand sifting starfish.also u can get cleaner clams for the sand bed.i always used this method plus i hand stirred the sand bed to always keep it oxygenated and detritus clean.

My diamond goby sifts sand (mainly the area around his burrow) without getting it over corals. However, he doesn't venture too far out of his territory. My nassarius snails and fighting conchs do a better job of sand sifting IMO. I wouldn't get a sand-sifting starfish, as they'll eventually starve when they go through the sand.

I did have a watchman the did some sifting around the burrow until my candy hogfish spazed out and killed him and buried him in the sand. Couldnt believe even with my own eyes, i think i may go the nass snails route a.d maybe another fighting conch or 2.

How about a small horseshoe crab?

I saw them at the LFS and they are crazy at going thru the sand.

Assuming it lives, what's the OP going to do with a foot long crab? (and that's not including the tail!) That's a bad idea. Many people think that because there's gunk on their sand, they need a sand sifter when actually it's a husbandry issue, not a lack of sand stirrers issue.
